Today’s meeting for Anna this afternoon was good. The doctor talked to her directly, what she is hoping to get from medication and her answer was – “to be able to pay more attention, to be more focussed”. So, we are trying Daytran, for a month to see how she does on it. What I like about the patch is that it can be taken off earlier. When a pill is taken, it lasts for a longer time, but the patch can be removed. We will be trying it out while we are in Germany and will have more of an idea if it is working, we have to up the dose or have to try something different. Anna actually asked tonight when she will be able to use it. I think she is ready to show when she can actually do. She can do so much in the classroom, but it is reall tough during tests. As written  before, I think many of her issues have to do with being able to focus and pay attention. It is certainly NOT a smart pill!

Today, I have been trying to understand our health insurance plan. Unfortunately, even the insurance cannot tell me how something will be covered – copay or deductible, or both. Well, I am not going to leave it up to chance and will keep bugging them. This is the fun part of staying at home, right? With everything else I am doing – work, house, kids, packing for vacation – it is NOT recommendable.

Good night, sleep tight …

This wonderful award was bestowed upon me by our friend Jerry whose blog I love reading. Yes, it is inspiring Jerry!

This leaves me to list the blogs that make my days, bring laughter, thought, beautiful pictures, etc.

My friend Mary writes the blog with a bit of quirk. I am always looking forward to the next unconventional post. She is a great writer!

Do I need to say more when it comes to Meditation Photography? I love photography. It is my art so-to-say.

My brother Matthias lately sent me Nothing for Ungood, which quickly has entered my daily routine. There are probably a lot of inside jokes, but a lot of people have moved or have been to Germany and can REALLY understand this blog. It is so funny, I riffle through it when I need a serious pick-me-up or just a good laugh.

The Strohmeyers are family friends. We met when they had moved from Germany to Atlanta, GA as Michael and they were working for the same company. They currently live in Dubai, with their two girls, which gives their blog that extra exotic, interesting touch. It is a great way to keep up with oneanother when you cannot see each other!!!

Ah, the refreshing Tales from the Script written bei dieMutti 😉 I love her humor, wit, and the fact that she is raising bilingual children – German and English!

Markus is a photographer extraordinaire and a good friend. I thoroughly enjoy his misconstrued opinions 😉 and his fabulous pictures. This is a flog (foto blog) by the way.

There you have it. These are my nominees. Proudly presented, not too many, but, just like with my friends, I have a few tight ones and then many aquaintances. So, check out these good ones!
